HOW TO MAKE A MAGIC MORNING CACAO DRINK

morning cacao

The ancient Maya Civilization referred to the Cacao Drink as a ‘Drink from the Gods’ because of it’s potent healing powers and ability to clear the mind to fulfill life’s purpose.

The shamans have been using it since at least 1000 BC, in sacred ceremonies as they connect to Source, for it heightens a natural state of awareness, allowing them to tap into the hidden secrets of the universe. And today, I drink it daily to nourish my body with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to fight disease, boost immunity and digestion, induce energy and find clarity.

The seed from the Cacao tree has an exceptionally high density of nutrients making this tree to be a chief leader of the Superfood group. It is overflowing with antioxidants, Iron, Magnesium, Copper and Calcium (more than cows milk). Making this ancient bean a very strong immunizer for our body. It strengthens our heart, reduces the risk of stroke and protects against cardiovascular disease. It reduces cholesterol, thins blood and boosts circulation preventing blood clots and the hardening of the arteries. By drinking cacao you are preventing aging, encouraging weight loss, calming hormones and uplifting your mood, making you feel happier and for longer.

Mix cacao with a variety medicinal spices to nurture the soul.

To compete my magic morning potion, I add – ginger, cinnamon, turmeric and chili, as well as coconut oil. The spices can be removed or replaced, and cacao is fine to drink on it’s own, but when I mix these flavors with cacao, I feel like I am making something magical.

Ginger is one of my most favorite roots in the world! I add it to my cooking all the time, and it’s also amazing to have as a tea on it’s own. The list of medicinal properties of ginger are extensive and impressive. Ginger is high in antioxidants and is a strong anti-inflammatory to help muscle pain, osteoarthritis, menstrual pain. It lowers cholesterol, improves heart strength, fights cancer, fights Alzheimer’s, is good for gingivitis, and helps clear infections, and skin.

Tumeric, is another well known spice mainly used in Indian cooking, and it comes from the same root vegetable group as Ginger and therefore has many of the same powerful attributes. In addition to this, turmeric is a good anti-depressant.

Cinnamon fights diabetes, protects brain function and dental health, while fighting infections and viruses, in addition to the above attributes of ginger and tumeric.

Coconut Oil is high in saturated fats, which is responsible for not only creating healthy cholesterol but also changes bad cholesterol into good. Coconut oil is also antiviral, anti-fungal and antibacterial which means it treats UTI’s, Kidney infections, fights candida and protects the liver.

And finally chili flakes (optional) prevent stomach ulcers, great for diabetes, clear congestion by clearing mucus in your nose and lungs. The chili flakes give the cacao drink a bit of a kick and help to get the cacao into your blood stream faster!

This powerfully potent Cacao magic drink will provide you with a boost of long-lasting energy, while giving love and strength to your heart and other organs, it will improve digestion, memory and brain function. As well as provide an overall strengthening immunity to your body.
