It’s not easy to be challenged with the same problem over and over again.
Especially after all the work we put into ourselves to rise above.
Even though we understand the hidden meaning behind the issue at hand,
it doesn’t make it any easier.
For that problem masks our insecurity and it’s the fear that forces us to act out,
trying desperately to find to something to make us feel better.
To provide comfort.
To prove that the love we give is mirrored in return.
But it’s not as simple as asking,
nor screaming or kicking our feet to get the attention that we want.
That we so badly deserve.
No. It’s more than that.
We need to look inside, and ask ourselves why.
Why does the love need to be shown in a certain way?
When the answer is simple.
If we loved ourselves enough we wouldn’t be asking for this validation.
We wouldn’t be praying so hopelessly for the blessings to be given to us.
They already exist. All around us. So many blessings.
We just keep our eyes closed when we want to.
And we forget how to acknowledge and give gratitude for what is already there.
Do we get so spoilt that we forget what is real and what it is that we truly care about?
Suddenly we want more and more and more.
And suddenly we forget. We don’t care about any of it.
We just care about love.
Love, it’s only love underneath it all.
And that love that you want, look inside yourself, it’s been there all along, just waiting for you to take it.
And when you finally do,
accept yourself and love yourself for all that you are, you will be free,
and the world around you will be as strong as the love that you feed yourself.
Don’t go hungry. Hungry makes us crazy.
And no one likes crazy.
